We planned to release the Wearable Iron Man Mark II (2) and III (3) Armor suit costume this April alone with the famous female Iron Man suit - the Rescue, which is also known as the Iron Pepper Potts. Moreover, we may release several mash-up armors as well. e.g. the Iron Captain American, the Iron Superman and the Iron Spider-Man. The Rescue suit is for sure but the mash-up suits are not decided so if you like them, please let us know.

We tested several key points of the Mark II armor on a helmet prototype. First is the prototypical rivets design. The Iron Man Mark 2 suit is the first armor Tony Stark designed in his own workshop to explore flights potential so the surface look was not a crucial thing Tony cared about very much. However, the exposed rivets make the Mark 2 one of the most unique armors among all the Iron Man armors Tony built. The rivet presentation was a success. Naturally, the next thing we need to test is the chrome-silver paint. To make metallic feeling over the high strength resin is a challenge. What we have achieved can be seen below. The photos were taken by iPhone 6. We are not very satisfied with the surface effect although the helmet do reflect lights. What we are looking for is more shinning, more reflecting effect.

We now start to take pre-orders of the wearable Halo 5 Master Chief Armor suit costume.

What's left before the official release?

• the rest armor pieces:
  You can see there are several armor pieces missing in the prototype, e.g. the right back pack, the left shoulder cap and arm armor, the left thigh and leg armor and the left shoe armor. They are all symmetric to the pieces on the other side of which the wearing experience and overall presentation have already been tested and confirmed. We now just need to build them accordingly.
• the painting:
  To give the prototype a visual presentation as vivid as possible without ruining the prototype, we use water soluble painting to color the armor. After we finish building the rest part of the armor, we will color the suit using automobile painting. Moreover, we will use semi-glossy transparent protection painting to express the Master Chief armor's surface feeling.
• the add-ons:
  We designed several cool cold color LED lights under the shoulder caps, inside the chest armor and back packs and beside the thigh armors. They are already installed on the prototype and you can see them in the photos taken by iPhone 6. As for weapons, the energy sword and the ARC920 Railgun are available. We will release the raligun by the end of February.

We invited some Halo game fans to test the wearing experience and overall presentation of the wearable Halo 5 Master Chief armor suit costume last week. After then, we made several improvements for the articulated structures and wearing system of the suit according to their feedback. We now think that we are ready to build the rest part of the suit and start to take preorders.

What's next?

• Build the rest part of the suit
• Color the suit with optimized painting
• Start to produce orders from March 15th and deliver the first suit by March 25th.

New photos

As we mentioned in our previous posts, we are going to start to take pre-orders of the new wearable Halo 4 Master Chief armor suit costume very soon. But before that we have to finish one more important task.

We suffered several website down issues last year when visitors increased rapidly.
